How to find us

Only 50 min. south of Salzburg, you’ll be at the Hochkeilhaus faster than you think. Our Team Hostel Hochkeilhaus is located at 1,400 m at the foot of the Mandlwände, 7 km above the dreamy mountain village of Mühlbach am Hochkönig. The developed panoramic road branches off in Mühlbach near the village center and is well signposted in the direction of Arthurhaus.

The easy way to the recreational park Hochkeilhaus:

via the freeway and Bischofshofen

Freeway Munich A8 to Salzburg. Tauernautobahn A10 direction Villach until exit Bischofshofen – about 10 km to the village Mühlbach am Hochkönig – big signs on the right side “Arthurhaus” “Mandlwandstraße” turn there and 7 km up the mountain. Next to the Griesfeld lift, before the larch avenue on the right is the Hochkeilhaus.

Toll free via the country road and Lofer

Freeway Munich A8 to Salzburg. Exit Siegsdorf – Inzell – Steinpaß – Lofer – Saalfelden – Maria Alm – Dienten/Hochkönig – entry to Mühlbach am Hochkönig large signs on the left “Arthurhaus” “Mandlwandstraße” turn there and 7 km up the mountain. Next to the Griesfeld lift, before the larch avenue on the right is the Hochkeilhaus.

By train to Bischofshofen, from there by bus no. 590 to Mühlbach Ortsmitte and from there by bus in the direction of Arthurhaus – bus stop Hochkeilhaus.
