In 1866, the Mühlbach Copper Company began building a restaurant. In 1894, my great-great-grandparents leased the alpine farm Mitterberg on the Hochkönig.
Even then, vacationers appreciated the panorama of the Mandlwände, the hiking area on the Hochkönig, and the hospitality of the Radacher family. Over the years, the small inn became a cozy 3-star mountain hotel in Mühlbach am Hochkönig.
